Ammon Carver has gained recognition in the hair and beauty industry for his refined aesthetic, continued passion and portfolio of flawless looks. With multiple nominations and awards for Master Hairstylist of the Year, Men's Hairstylist of the Year & Salon Team of the Year in 2015 and again in 2019 by the prestigious North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), Ammon is one of the most highly regarded hair stylists in the business. Most recently, Ammon took home the 2020 NAHA for Men's Hairstylist of the Year.

In his role with Ulta, Ammon has the privilege of setting the course for salon and services direction through trend development, as well as for training and advising stylists at over 1200 salons and stores across the country. Ammon oversees the seasonal, on-trend cut, color and styling offerings available at Ulta Beauty. This vision begins when Ammon, together with his elite Ulta Beauty Pro Team, a team of seven hairstylists representing some of the most elite brands in the beauty industry, pioneer the trends for Ulta Beauty.

Ammon and his in-house Ulta Beauty Design Team then translate the trends into seasonal, cut, color and styling offerings before ensuring that over 100 Ulta Beauty Services District Educators are equipped with the necessary technical training to take those trends to the hands of thousands of Ulta stylists in stores across the country.

Laura Gunter

Laura Gunter is an Atlanta area hairstylist, a member of the Ulta Beauty Design Team and a Matrix Artist. Laura’s work has been featured in publications such as Modern Salon and IMirage magazine. She specializes in texture and creative hair color. Her passion is inspiring and empowering others to feel and look their best every day.

Beto Sanchez

Born and raised in Mexico City, Beto’s career begins in 2007 when he joined Cosmetology School learning Pivot Point methods for color, styling, and cut. From 2010 to 2014 Beto managed and worked in his own salon with the support of his family who always believed in and experienced his interest in hair from a young age. Later in 2014 he moved to Chicago and joined Cosmetology school where he learned TiGi methods for cutting as well as coloring with L’oreal Professionnel and Wella. Once again established in a salon environment and with a license to resume his career in the US he continued taking clients behind the chair.

A couple years later and after being certified as a Master Color Expert he began his career in education with Wella. Showing great skill and interest in teaching he also joined the GHD North America team of brand ambassadors which focuses mainly in training and sharing techniques for hair styling.

In 2019 he joined Ulta Beauty as an Elite stylist at the flagship location salon on Michigan Avenue and also became a member of the Ulta Beauty Design Team. His focus and drive in the beauty industry also includes social media which he believes is a source of knowledge and inspiration. As an example he teaches an Instagram and social media seminar sponsored by Wella, Beto also created visual and video content as part of the Artist Connective program through Modern Salon. With such passion for hair and education in the beauty industry he constantly travels to attend trainings and events that improve his skills and create new inspiration to deliver versatile results not just in the salon but also runway shows, beauty events, stage presentations, photoshoots, etc.
